Dear Experts,
Is income tax applies to the dividend received by a domestic company. My company received dividend of Rs 15 Lakhs,Please advise on the taxability.

Dividend income is exempt from tax as company pays dividend tax (CDT) at the time of paying dividend to shareholders.

Then what is the logic behind insertion of section 115bbda. Why govt has tax divididend to specified assessees
