i m working in one of the top ca firm in my city and hvg a real good work exposure,a week back i had given an interview for a govt job and i have got selected for the same,but i have heard in public sector although pay is very good but there is no career growth,i dont have any kind of responsibility or anything on my shoulders regarding family and all so what should i do ,shud i take up public sector job or stick to the firm in which i m,plz reply asap...............

17 April 2013 It's better to join job if you want to earn good money. if you are serious about doing c.a then please don't accept the offer. as not all PSU job's are rigid and routine it altogether depends upon roles and responsibilities.

My suggestion would be as you have just passed graduate its better to do c.a now and as you've said you are into top most c.a firm now so you would surely have a good learning there which would surely help you out in making a good career.

28 June 2013 You have not stated your qualification. Are you CA or simple B. Com.

If you have got a Govt. Job then you are lucky. Think for your future and think about your retirement. After retirement you are entitled for pension. Your status will be that of a Govt. Officer and you can enjoy your life for balance period so join it.
