What is the difference between IAS and IFRS?

Both are same. New IAS issued are known as IFRS.

There is no difference between IAS and IFRS.
Both have been issued by the same institue, i.e. IASB - Internation Accounting Standards Board.
Earlier, the standards issued by this Institute were known as IAS. But, new standards are known as IFRS.
