23 June 2009 If person is employed for part of the year in Australia & if he is living their on Rental Basis, then whether the person can claim deduction of that HRA?

23 June 2009 HRA exemption is allowed on the rent paid in India only.Rent paid in Australia will not be considered for the said exemption.Resultantly, HRA received during such period will be taxable fully.
