06 September 2014 dear sir we are doing an internal audit of a company in which they maintain accounts under SAP they provided us monthly returns of excise my doubt is how to audit those returns

06 September 2014 Do Simply cross match their monthly Sales figures in SAP Reports with Qty, Assessable Value mentioned in ER-1.
Then check duty rates calculated or not properly in Assessable Value of Excise.
