husband and wife' s (joint name) housing loan taken so both can claim the tax benefit? if yes pls let me know the percentage.

Yes, both can claim. Generally the percentage sharing should be based on property ownership ratio. This would ensure sufficient documentation as maybe reqd by IT deptt at a later point of time.
