Why the gold is so precious! Why the world run behind the gold? why we give much importance then other matel!

Shining of gold never goes. When an item is found less; it means it is valuable. Why vegetables are costly in gulf countries than in India ?
Gold is one of the precious metal and since centuries it is being used to make ornaments. All other metals will loose their colour; but gold remains gold.
Can you say why water is costly now which was available without any cost some years ago?

agree with expert and gold is not available in big quantity it is limited resource than any other metal and it have many other elemental qualities
