23 February 2011 We are a Small Manufacturing Company in Plastics Industry (Firm) (SSI Unit), We are manufaturing different Type of Plastics product by Plastic Injection Machine.

Then Please Tell us after crossed What turover then Excise Number is applicable?

23 February 2011 To ensure yourself about SSI units under Central Excise Law, your previous years' TO should be less than 400 lacs. There are limits in arriving the above said 400 lacs. Importantly, your product must be a specified one in the Notification.

Please refer notification no.8/2000 for detailed information about SSI.
