My query is what are the duties & powers available to CA who is either paid asst. in CA Firm or holds a salaried employment in addition to practice ??

A practicing CA cannot be a paid assistant or a salaried employee even in a CA Firm. He has to surrender CoP.

Ok Perfectly fine, but if we check Form No. 2 for entry in the register there is Pt. No. 16 which states "whether the member intends to continue the other engagements in addition to practice ?"
