14 November 2010 Dear all,

I am about to get pass in the Exam on CA FINAL on November 2010,

I am of the doubt about the validity of the AMFI licency to be held by Chartered accountant so i request you all to give me suggestion whether i can hold such licence as a CA or not

Does it amount to any professional misconduct as per professional ethics of CA Regulation act?

17 November 2010 As per chartered accoutant act,1949 and rules made thereunder, it is not permissible to hold AMFI licence, IF YOU HOLDING DEGREE OF C.A. So, in your case you should surrender your AMFI licence at the earliest to avoid any action against you from institue.
