01 October 2016 I have filed my E.R.1 without mention of Notification Number.

How can I rectify the same. whether any penalty will be arise for same.

01 October 2016 You could able to file the revised returns by the end of the calendar month in which the original return is filed. Refer Notification No. 8/2016 Central excise – NT date 1st March 2016.

There is an option for revised ER-1 in ACES. this provision was recently incorporated. No penalty would be imposed in case submit the revised returns.
