Five days of grace is allowaed. So due date is 20th of next month.
Payment made within grace period is considered as payment made within due date.

In addition to what the experts said above,
5 days grace are allowed so that the fund actually gets credited to the Provident fund account.
Even it you have a stamp on your PF challan of 20th, you can be at default if your cheque is of another bank & it takes 2-3 days in clearing process.
