Distance learning mba from which institute?

07 December 2013 Dear Experts, I am a CA working in a PSU and having 4 years of Post qualification experience. I want to revive/enhance my knowledge. Therefore I have thought of doing MBA in Finance/International Business/Financial Management/Business Administration. Full time and Part Time MBA is not my cup of tea. I dont want to do Full time MBA. And because of business in job, it is very difficult to manage Part time MBA also. I need Experts's advice as to which Institute is Best for doing Correspondence MBA. I have done some research and have become confused. In my opinion PGDM and MBA are same and dont make a difference as IIM too provide PGDM. Cost wise IIM and XLRI are too expensive for 5.5 and 2.62 Lacs respectively. I narrowed in on Narsee Monjee and ICFAI and IMT. IMT also requies Too much devotion and Project Work. Now, ICFAI 's subject materia, I have heard is Quality and Good and far better than that of Symboisis and Sikkim Manipal. Now IMT and Narsee Monjee and ICFAI. IGNOU is also not good because of its Old fasioned course material and exam pattern of 5 out of 10 subjective type questions. Experts, please help me to decide between Narsee Monjee and ICFAI.

07 December 2013 Rather than going for distance MBA after completing CA,I would suggest you to go for MBF course of ICAI .You can complete this course within30000,its a weekend based course,so work schedule won't get disturbed.Further,you will get additional benifit of 100 CPE hours.

07 December 2013 Don't have idea about other 2universities but ICFAI has been amongst the disputed universities.Other good option for you can be CMA(U.S.).No need to take any classes & this course can be completed within 6-9months & within 70000Rs.It is also equivalent to ICWA in India.But do confirm from head office in U.S. about the fees ,as they give some special discounts some time due to their own reasons.
