I'm appearing for my ca final exam in may 2011 I want to know which book will be better for me for direct taxes.

TN Manohar or padhuka .. For basic and exam point of View.
Ahuja or Singahina for advance and expert knowledge. Singahnia is too vast with respect to practical and that much depth is not required for exam

Vivek i think in final exam of CA anything and everything can be asked in the practical part i. e. computation of total income part and for the same in depth knowledge is required and hence i have suggested Sighania book.
