Din director last name

18 January 2012 In south India many People do not use Surname. In one of the Director he his having name without surname and same in the case of her father. While applying to DIN we use his father name as his surname as it was mandatory. Now as per new rule, DIN need to be tally with PAN. Now customer say that in all my other legal doc say PAN, Passport, DL, Voter Card, LIC Bank A/c etc, my name is single, if I change it in PAN in future again i need to change in all doc. By doing this instead of making all my doc correct in principal i am making my all doc false. What is the fun of making change in all doc for DIN, If i am wrong i will do, by by doing this actually i am giving false info to all the department.

What to do in this case. Client is not ready to change all doc, is their any other way out to solve this problem. If we see Director is correct on his part as in their community they do not use surname with their name.

I am also facing the same problem.But I will submit the DIN 4 with an Affidavit to same effect that the two names are of one person and then will see.....

19 January 2012 Dear Suraj, This not the solution, as if their is mismatch in the name as per DIn and
PAN, your DIN 4 will be rejected. Their should be proper way to address this problem.But thanks for your concern.
