is an assessee can claim deduction u/s 80c for college fee,or other professional institution fee

27 September 2011 Yes, but for his/her children only (maximum two) provided following conditions are satisfied:
1. Only tuition fee is allowed excluding other payments like donation etc.
2. For full time education in India only
3. Maximum for two children only.
