Can anybody please clarify whether TMT STEEL is declared goods or not as per CST Act.

Please read entry Sec 14(iv)((iv) r/w entry (iv)(ix. The commodity TMT is a thermo mechanical carbon treatment to render specific end use. Thus it can very well be claimed as special type of steel bar. Hence it would be a declared good
