16 August 2011 HUF is applicable to the Hindu governed by the Mitakashra school of Hindu Law and they are born in two status one is Individual and the second is HUF. Till Hindu male get married he cannot form HUF. Once he gets married he can have the second status i.e HUF. In your case you have a daughter then there is no problem at all. The only problem is that no one can claim any partition till you have the second male member.
