08 October 2011 A govt servant has been deployed at station "A" and provided family accommodation at station "B" of the same city. While coming for duty from station "B" to "A" the Govt. Servant has met with an accident and seriously injured. Whether, such accident will be counted on duty or otherwise. Kindly clarify with rule position.

This accident will not be counted towards in the duty...the hard and fast rule is....THE ACCIDENT MUST BE ARRISSING OUT OF AND IN THE COURSE OF HIS EMPLOYMENT...
