02 January 2014 I am currently pursuing articleship. I would like to pursue my career in Financial Planning & Analysis. Which area of audit(Statutory,Internal,Taxationetc) while pursing articleship would be helpful for me.

06 January 2014 Manasi ,I would advice you to take secondment of articleship if you are in 3rd yr or take transfer if you are in 1st year ,if you want to make your career in Financial Analysis & Planning.And join a firm dealing in mergers & acquisitions,financial modelling,business planning,industry research,due deligence,equity & debt syndication and alike fields.If you want to make it as your core area for your career audit,tax won't help much.If your firm deals in one or more of these areas then continue with your current firm.

07 January 2014 Thanks for the reply. The firm I work for does deal with such areas but they dont take articles in that field.If possible, request you to please give me names of some firms which deal with the same.
