I am into my second year of articleship. My aim is to enter the finance field in a corporate (ideally something which improves my chances of settling abroad). I was wondering if CFA (USA) in combination with CA would help me in achieving my ambition. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes.CA & CFA will definetely help you .Just make sure even apart from CFA & US you hold good knowledge of various laws,SEC (U.S.) etc.
