career in ca firm

10 February 2011 hello
i have recently become C.A i have only income tax experience during my articleship. i did not work related with companies and roc. but a ca firm offers me partnership but they are saying you have to work regarding companies and roc. but i do not have any practical knowledge about it. now i am worried regarding my career in c.a firm becoz this is good opportunity for me to join a ca firm but please help me how can i get knowledge regarding companies work and roc. what points should we consider while doing tax audit of companies and also guide me regarding caro report. please help me

11 February 2011 If you have the inclination for practice you should join this firm. While on the job keep studying for additional fields and keep yourself updated on Company Law and ROC Procedures.
