If i take fair value of 1981 as purchase cost, can i get the indexation benefit.
eg. i have property purchased in 1969 for Rs.30000/-,its fair value in 1981 in Rs.9 Lacs.Can i get the indexation benefit on Rs.9 Lacs ?
