CA Final Direct Tax

30 July 2016 I am a student of CA final and would be appearing for both groups in November 16 I have already completed direct tax from Vinod Gupta books but his module are quite lenghty also his dt summary module is good but some of my seniors have adviced not to study from summary module near exams as it is quite lenghty. so please suggest me some good summary handnotes, so that i could make a balance between time and quality. thanks :)

30 July 2016 I beg to differ with the suggestions given by your seniors. Since, you have already covered the portions from the various modules including Summary module, I would suggest you to please continue with the same book as the provisions for November 2016 Examination remains the same. You may need to fine tune your understanding on some of the core areas and ensure you give adequate time and effort in planning how to present your paper in the exam. You may well take mock tests to develop confidence for writing in examination conditions. Time management is another core aspect you must bear in mind. If you go on seeking another additional material, you might feel very edgy as time is premium and you are left with short time to cover it. Hence, I would suggest you to please retain the existing module and try working more smartly from it. All the very best.
