10 December 2013 Please guide me in this issue.

1. Converted from PCC to IPCC
2. Period of articleship: 3 and half years.
3. Can appear for CA Final 6 months before the articleship gets completed
(unlike IPCC where the same period is of 1 year)
4. Date of completion of articleship: 18th November 2014

If CA Final exam is conducted in May' 2014, I am not eligible to write the exam just because of 18 days. (1st November,2014 - 18th November, 2014)
(As per rules, articleship should get completed within 6 months from the commencement of the exam, in my case that ends on 31st October, 2014)

If the exam gets postponed to June' 2014, will the due date of completion of articleship period also get postponed to 30th November, 2014 from of 31st October. 2014?

12 December 2013 Thanks. But I have asked this query mainly because I wanted to take study leave.
If I'm eligible for the exam I can take study leave from January itself.
I will really appreciate if you'll help me out in this issue.

12 December 2013 if exam is postponed you will get eligibility to write exam,,but that postponement should have done before you are applying for exam

you also obtain suggestion from icai regional branch their suggestion is most reliable

12 December 2013 I visited the ICAI branch.. but they are not ready to give their opinion as as on date the postponement of the exam is not officially declared. That's the reason I'm searching for experts opinion.
