Experts please reply my query.
I have registered for CA final in Septumber 2009 and I have not yet received my student ID card sent along with my registration forms.
Now my doubt is that if it is mandatory to remaind the institute to get the ID card.
For what purpose the student ID card is needed?????????

if you are registering for CA Final,you must be either PCC or IPCC cleared student.Then,there is no need to send the ID Card for student registration.
However better to ring up ICAI Office and enquire about it.
(From my personal experience,there was no use for the card at all.)

agree Dear i also think there will be no more use of I-Card, but if you need then make it again with institute.
