05 November 2017 Can a company buy back 50% of its shares over 2 or 3 years?

05 November 2017 As per section 68, a company cannot buyback shares more than 25% of total paid up capital in one time. There is no maximum limit is provided upto which a company can buyback shares. Therefore, in the period of three years, a company may buy back upto 50% of paid up capital, provided complied with all provisions of company laws and Sebi LODR, if company is listed.
