hi...
I have a hdfc salary a/c opened by my previous employer... now I joined as a article student in a firm...will this a/c be eligible for my stipend?
as I got a mail from bank that it is going to be converted in to normal saving a/c if salary is not credited by my employer.

Yes if it is converted as a saving account then its not been an issue.

I don't advise to do that.Though there is no such restriction on it. But practically salary account create doubts that you are engaged in some job with articleship.So you will be in problem on any later stage.
