Articleship transfer after 1 year

I am doing my articleship in the west. I have already completed 1 year and 3 months of my term. I want to take a transfer to my hometown in the north. Can I give medical reason for the same, Since I am unable to find any other suitable reason. Kindly advise.

14 July 2014 then u need to write a letter to icai on plain paper and give a medical report on the same from a govt certfied doctor.

14 July 2014 Thanks for replying. Can I immediately register under the new principal or there should be a gap of some time? I got to know that I will have to wait for 3 months before registering again. Kindly guide.

14 July 2014 no only when u submit form 109 u can start working with diff ca firm.

14 July 2014 Thanq for replying. But I just read that according to regulation 56(1), when transfer is taken on medical grounds, it requires a discontinuance of at least 3 months. That will in turn delay my Final Examination attempt. This is the link where I read the same.
