25 December 2013 Hi sir u joined in one firm 2 months ago and I want to take transfer to another firm now.my doubt is about 1. is it compulsory to take permission for transfer from icai. 2. is it compulsory to join in another firm immediately after taking transfer if not what is time recommended to join another firm. 3. if my boss not accepted for transfer can I take termination.

25 December 2013 You can take transfer during your first year of your article ship.You simply need to fill the form no.109 and get it sign by your principal.If he is not signing this you can report it to ICAI. and you should join to some another firm immediately otherwise it will effect your attempt as your training completion date suffers however there is no any statutory time limit.
