about final CA exam which is due in May 11

15 August 2010 sir i would like to know how many months are sufficient to study with revision for final CA.
1)which group should i start first so that i have a better position in the exam.

2)my articleship is getting over in april 2011 so am i elligible for may 11 attempt.

3) is IFRS is getting applicable for may 11 attempt.

15 August 2010 Nothing is enough in final. It is very vast and any amount of time spent on studying spent could be less. Normally if u have not taken classes for CA Final then atleast 6 months would be required for u to prepare. If u have already taken classes then 4 - 4 1/2 months is fine.

1. U could start both groups simultaneously i. e. take one subject from one group and one from the other group and start simultaneously if u are comfortable with studying two subjects in a day. If not then start with first group.

2. U are eligible for November 2010 attempt also. However since u are not prepared for it now u should attempt in May 2011 only.

3. IFRS not applicable for May 2011 attempt.
