80 G Certificate

07 April 2011 My client got 80 G certificate last year for the period upto 31.3.2011.
Whether I have to renew it to further period or it will be treated as continued unless and untill withdrawn.
Kindly help me to send the relevant notification/circular regarding the same.

07 April 2011 No . any approval under Section 80G(5) on or after 1.10.2009 would be a one time approval which would be valid till it is withdrawn.

Circular No. 7/2010 [F.No.197/21/2010-ITA-I], Dated 27-10-2010.

07 April 2011 80G certificate was issued before 1-10-09 (approval on 30.4.2009) and the period of exemption ended on 31.3.2010, then what to do?
again apply of renew or it will be continued?

07 April 2011 No need to renew as it is valid perputuality unless cancelled.
