Sir, Suppose payment made under 194c is Rs 9800 after deducting tax @ 2% ie,200 on Rs 10000 bill amount dated 05/12/2011.The tax is further deposited on 07/02/2012.Can u please calculate the interest for the same for late deposit? How can we calculate the month or part of a month for interest is payable?
