Introduction

The journey of this work so far has been a celebration of the many qualities that define our beloved Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Each part has highlighted a different dimension of his personality, leadership, and vision, and together they weave a rich tapestry of his life's journey. Part I began with the foundations of Modi Ji's early qualities - his discipline, dedication, and determination - which laid the seeds of leadership. Part II carried forward his qualities of humility, compassion, and devotion, reflecting how a leader must remain connected with the common man. Part III explored his courage, boldness, and ability to take decisive steps in times of adversity, showing how he stood firm against challenges. Part IV focused on his role as a reformer and visionary, introducing transformative policies and steering India toward progress with long-term clarity. Part V highlighted his moral and cultural strength, linking his qualities to India's civilisational values, and even drew parallels with Hindi cinema and music to make the narrative more relatable. Part VI emphasised his ability to rise above criticism, face allegations with courage, and continue working with integrity and resolve, proving that truth ultimately prevails. Part VII celebrated his qualities of honesty, incorruptibility, and his fight against negativity, making him a true symbol of clean and transparent governance.

Modi Ji: The Path, The Fragrance, The Faith - Part VIII

With these seven parts, the story has already showcased 70 qualities of Modi Ji, each reflecting a unique strength that inspires the nation. Yet, the canvas is not complete without looking at his qualities as a nation-builder in its truest sense - qualities that touch both the visible transformation of India's landscape and the invisible transformation of India's spirit.

It is here that Part VIII (qualities 71-75) finds its place. In this section, we see Modi Ji as:

  • The True Supporter of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, giving dignity to cleanliness.
  • The True Builder of Sustainable and Smart Cities, redefining urban India.
  • The True Well-Wisher of Villagers and Farmers, showing his faith in Bharat's roots.
  • The True Creator of a Strong and Powerful India on the Global Stage, making Bharat's voice heard worldwide.
  • And finally, the True Self-Believer, whose unwavering faith in himself and in Bharat has been the guiding force of his life and leadership.

This part carries an even deeper meaning because it comes at a time when Modi Ji is completing 75 glorious years of his life on 17th September 2025. Just as his age reflects a lifetime of service and struggle, the 75 qualities documented here may be seen as a tribute to each year of his remarkable journey - a journey of resilience, courage, vision, and faith in Bharat's destiny.

With this spirit, let us now enter Part VIII, which brings together cleanliness, sustainability, rural empowerment, global pride, and the power of self-belief - qualities that are not only Modi Ji's strengths but also guiding lights for every citizen of Bharat.

71. True supporter of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

When Modi Ji took charge as Prime Minister in 2014, one of his earliest and boldest calls from the Red Fort was for a "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan", launched formally on 2nd October 2014. What seemed like a simple matter of cleanliness was in truth a gigantic social revolution waiting to happen. For decades, India had suffered not only from poor sanitation but also from a global image of uncleanliness, something the Western world never hesitated to highlight. Modi Ji realised that unless this stigma was erased, India's dream of becoming a modern, respected nation would remain incomplete.

Impact of this mission:

  • Crores of toilets constructed across the country → India declared Open Defecation Free (ODF).
  • Girls' toilets in schools → sharp fall in dropout rates of girl students.
  • Women's dignity restored → no longer forced to face humiliation in the open.
  • Public health improved → 70,000+ deaths prevented annually due to reduction in diseases.
  • Cleaner ghats, railway stations, villages → visible transformation in India's landscape.

A shining example of the Swachh Bharat Mission's success is the city of Indore, which has been consistently ranked as the "Cleanest City of India" for several years in a row under the Swachh Survekshan survey. This achievement was not just about sweeping streets, but about a complete behavioural transformation. Indore pioneered 100% waste segregation at the household level, door-to-door garbage collection, and strict enforcement of hygiene rules - but most importantly, it was the citizens' pride and participation that made the city a model. Indore became a living proof that cleanliness is not merely a government campaign but a people's movement, echoing Modi Ji's vision of "Jan Andolan".

The spirit of Indore reflects the motivational essence of songs like "Hum Honge Kamyaab" (the Hindi version of We Shall Overcome), capturing the belief that collective effort can change reality. Moreover, Cinema too became a partner in this mission. Toilet - Ek Prem Katha (2017) starring Akshay Kumar mirrored the campaign, breaking taboos and spreading awareness. Songs like "Toilet Ka Jugaad" and "Hans Mat Pagli" gave a cultural rhythm to this social change.

Great leaders inspire by action, not just speeches. When Modi Ji himself picked up the broom and cleaned the streets, he broke barriers of status and showed that no work is too small. For readers, this is a reminder that change always begins with us. If we start by keeping our home, office, or neighbourhood clean, we contribute to a larger mission. Just as a single lamp removes darkness, a single individual's action can spark a people's movement.

72. True Builder of Sustainable and Smart Cities

Building upon the success of Swachh Bharat, Modi Ji envisioned the next step: creating sustainable, modern, and smart cities where cleanliness, technology, and citizen participation come together for lasting transformation.

Once again, Indore stands tall - not just as the cleanest city, but also as a model Smart City, with innovations like GPS-tracked waste collection, underground sensor bins, and waste-to-energy plants. This shows how Modi Ji's vision moved from a cultural awakening to a structural transformation, turning Indian cities into global benchmarks of progress.

Indore's achievement is not only about cleanliness - it is about smart, sustainable urban management. The city adopted real-time GPS tracking of garbage trucks, underground bins with sensors, and waste-to-energy plants that convert garbage into fuel and compost. Citizens were digitally connected through apps, awareness drives, and reward-based participation, making Indore a model of technology-driven governance. This integration of cleanliness + sustainability + technology is precisely what the Smart Cities Mission envisioned. Indore today is not just clean - it is sustainably clean, setting a global example of how a traditional Indian city can transform into a world-class urban ecosystem. The energy of Indore's smart transformation resonates with "Chale Chalo" from Lagaan (2001) - a reminder that collective determination, guided by strong leadership, can build miracles. Further, Cinema has often dreamt of a futuristic, modern India.

Key examples of transformation:

  • Smart Cities Mission (2015): Development of 100 cities with focus on smart traffic management, digital governance, energy efficiency, waste management, and citizen-centric services. Cities like Indore, Bhopal, Pune, Surat, and Bhubaneswar have emerged as models of cleanliness, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Metro Rail Revolution: Massive expansion of metro systems in Delhi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, and Bengaluru, easing urban congestion and providing eco-friendly transport.
  • Digital Integration: Push for e-governance, digital payments, and smart cards has made city life more convenient and transparent.
  • Green and Renewable Energy: Rooftop solar initiatives, electric buses, and solar-powered public infrastructure placed Indian cities among global leaders in green adoption.
  • AMRUT Yojana: Upgraded water supply, sewage systems, and green belts in over 500 towns, giving smaller cities the dignity of urban modernity.
  • Heritage & Modernity Together: Redevelopment of Varanasi ghats, Sabarmati riverfront in Ahmedabad, and Kashi Vishwanath Dham combined cultural pride with modern civic facilities.

  • In Swades (2004), the song "Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera" beautifully captured the longing to see a modern, developed India - a spirit fulfilled through such missions.
  • Lakshya (2004), with its iconic song "Kandhon Se Milte Hain Kandhe", reflected the spirit of building a new, determined nation, much like the collaborative drive to build smart cities.
  • Robot (2010) depicted an imagined futuristic Chennai, symbolising aspirations of a technologically advanced India.
  • Even songs like "Ilahi" from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), with its adventurous embrace of new horizons, mirror the aspirations of India's youth in modern, vibrant cities.
  • The patriotic anthem "Chale Chalo" from Lagaan (2001) captures the energy of collective action, just as entire cities are joining hands to turn Modi Ji's vision into reality.

From cleaner streets of Indore and Surat, to world-class metro systems, to digital cities competing with global standards, Modi Ji has redefined urban life. He has not just built cities - he has built confidence in citizens that India can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the world's most advanced nations.

A true visionary thinks beyond the present and plans for generations to come. Modi Ji's dream of smart, sustainable cities reflects his focus on technology, ecology, and inclusivity. For readers, the message is to adopt sustainability in everyday living-whether through conserving water, reducing waste, or embracing digital tools for efficiency. Just as cities need long-term planning, our lives too flourish when we think ahead and build a foundation that lasts beyond today.

73. True Well-Wisher of Villagers and Farmers, Rooted in Self-Belief

After laying the foundation for Smart Cities, Modi Ji turned his focus to the soul of Bharat - its villages and farmers. He has always believed that urban progress and rural upliftment must move together, for a tree cannot grow tall if its roots remain weak. To him, true development is not complete until the farmer feels secure, the villager feels empowered, and rural women and children live with dignity.

Rural Empowerment in Action

  • PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Yojana: More than ₹2.8 lakh crore transferred directly into farmers' bank accounts, giving them security and purchasing power without middlemen.
  • Fasal Bima Yojana: Affordable crop insurance for crores of farmers, protecting them from losses due to droughts, floods, or pests.
  • Soil Health Card Scheme: Over 22 crore cards issued, guiding farmers in adopting scientific methods and protecting their land's fertility.
  • Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana: Over 1.8 lakh villages connected with all-weather roads, linking them to schools, hospitals, and markets.
  • Rural Electrification & Saubhagya Scheme: Every village in India electrified, fulfilling a dream pending since independence.
  • Har Ghar Jal Mission: Piped water supply to crores of rural households, liberating women from the burden of fetching water.
  • Digital Villages & CSCs: Villagers now access e-governance, digital banking, e-medicine, and markets, integrating rural Bharat with Digital India.
  • Organic & Natural Farming: Promoted across states, ensuring farmers not only feed the nation but also safeguard the environment.

Anecdotes of Transformation

In Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh, women once walked kilometers daily for water. With Har Ghar Jal, taps now flow in their homes. One mother said in Mann Ki Baat: "Ab beti paani laane nahin jaati, school jaati hai." (Now my daughter doesn't go to fetch water, she goes to school.) A simple tap became a symbol of education and dignity.

In Vidarbha, Maharashtra, a farmer used the PM-Kisan installment to buy quality seeds and fertiliser. Within two seasons, he repaid his loans and sent his son to college. He proudly said: "Sarkar ne paisa seedha kisan ke haath mein diya, ab beech mein koi dalal nahin." (The government gave money directly into farmers' hands, with no middlemen anymore.) Such stories show Modi Ji's belief in empowering people directly, restoring trust and self-belief in rural Bharat.

Just as Smart Cities symbolise India's modern future, Modi Ji's initiatives for villages show that strong roots build a stronger nation. Cities may shine with metros and digital hubs, but villages provide food, culture, and resilience. This balance between urban modernity and rural strength reflects Modi Ji's holistic vision of New India.

Cinema has long portrayed the struggles and pride of villages:

  • Mother India (1957) and Do Bigha Zameen (1953) showed farmers' hardships; today, policies shield them from those tragedies.
  • Swades (2004), with the song "Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera", captured the soul of rural empowerment that Modi Ji has turned into action.
  • Patriotic anthems like "Mitti Ki Khushboo" (Refugee, 2000) remind us that the soil of villages is India's real strength.

Impact

  • Villages once seen as symbols of backwardness are now hubs of innovation with solar power, e-rickshaws, and digital kiosks.
  • Farmers once seen as helpless victims of poverty are now partners in progress, confident of their place in India's future.
  • Rural youth no longer dream only of migrating to cities - many now dream of building enterprises in their villages, rooted in Modi Ji's philosophy of self-belief and self-reliance.

74. True creator of the image of a strong and powerful India on the global stage

Before 2014, India was admired for its culture, diversity, and values - respected as a soft power, but not perceived as a decisive force in world affairs. Modi Ji changed this perception forever. His proactive diplomacy, bold decision-making, and ability to speak with both conviction and vision ensured that the world started seeing India not just as a participant, but as a leader, shaper, and guardian of global destiny.

Key examples of global assertion:

  • At the United Nations General Assembly, Modi Ji spoke fearlessly about terrorism, peace, climate change, and global unity, while also championing Yoga as India's timeless gift to humanity. His effort made 21st June "International Yoga Day", now celebrated in over 190 countries every year.
  • Through surgical strikes (2016) and the Balakot airstrikes (2019), Modi Ji demonstrated that India will no longer remain a silent victim - it will respond with precision and strength, marking the birth of a new India.
  • During India's G20 Presidency (2023), with the theme "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - One Earth, One Family, One Future", the world saw India as a problem-solver, leading discussions on economy, health, technology, and environment.
  • The International Solar Alliance, co-founded by India, made the world recognise India's leadership in the fight against climate change and its vision for clean energy for all.
  • Modi Ji's personal diplomacy and ability to connect warmly with global leaders - whether in the US Congress, Japan's Diet, or rallies of the Indian diaspora in London, Sydney, and Madison Square Garden in New York - elevated India's stature as a confident, assertive, and globally respected power.

Cinema has always reflected India's aspirations of strength and recognition.

  • Chak De! India (2007) portrayed a determined India proving its dominance on foreign soil, a metaphor for Modi Ji's foreign policy.
  • Songs like "Kar Har Maidan Fateh" (Sanju, 2018) echo the spirit of conquering every battlefield, much like India asserting itself globally.
  • "Jai Ho" (Slumdog Millionaire, 2008) became a worldwide anthem of victory, symbolising India's unstoppable march under Modi Ji.
  • "Aashayein" (Iqbal, 2005) represents India's dreams transforming into reality on the global front.
  • Even patriotic classics like "Ae Watan, Ae Watan Humko Teri Kasam" (Shaheed, 1965) or "Maa Tujhe Salaam" (Vande Mataram, 1997) capture the same fervour that Modi Ji invoked when he made India's voice of strength echo across continents.

Today, when world leaders speak of global issues - be it peace, security, technology, health, or sustainability - India's viewpoint is sought, respected, and often leads the way forward. Modi Ji transformed India's perception from a country with potential to a country with power and purpose.A nation is only as strong as its roots. By prioritizing villagers and farmers, Modi Ji reminded us that development must reach the grassroots. For us, the parallel is valuing our own roots-our parents, teachers, communities, and traditions. Strengthening these roots gives us stability to grow higher. Just as a farmer patiently nurtures crops for harvest, we too must invest time and care in our foundations, knowing that true progress comes from the ground up.

75. True Self-Believer

Self-belief is the bedrock of every great success story. A person may possess knowledge, talent, or even opportunity, but without belief in one's own ability, all of it remains incomplete. History teaches us that it is not always the wealthiest, the most privileged, or the strongest who succeed - it is those who carry an unyielding conviction in themselves who rise above every obstacle. Whether it is in academics, sports, science, medicine, or politics, every extraordinary journey begins with the inner voice that says: "Yes, I can."

Modi Ji's own life is a shining example of this truth. Born in a modest family, helping his father sell tea at a railway station, he faced hardships that could have easily crushed the confidence of an ordinary person. But instead of letting circumstances define him, he allowed his self-belief to define his destiny. Step by step, he rose - from being a grassroots worker of the party, to becoming a dedicated organiser, then Chief Minister of Gujarat for over a decade, and finally, the Prime Minister of the world's largest democracy. Each stage of his journey was powered not by privilege, but by his faith in his own ability to serve and succeed.

Even in politics, his self-belief has carried him through the toughest challenges. In 2014, when many doubted whether he could lead at the national level, his conviction transformed doubt into a historic majority mandate. During the surgical strikes and Balakot airstrikes, when the world watched India's response to terror, it was his confidence that India could stand tall and act decisively which changed the global perception of Bharat. When critics dismissed the idea of a Digital India or a cashless economy, Modi Ji's conviction turned the impossible into reality, making India a global leader in digital transactions. And during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the world predicted India would stumble, his faith in India's capacity led to the development of indigenous vaccines and the vaccination of over a billion people, while also helping other nations through "Vaccine Maitri."

This spirit of perseverance is beautifully echoed in Anand Bakshi's timeless song from Aradhana (1969): "Kahe Ko Roye, Safal Hogi Teri Aradhana." Its message is eternal - no prayer, no effort, no dream goes in vain if pursued with patience, determination, and self-belief. Modi Ji, through his own unwavering confidence, has turned what once seemed impossible into reality, inspiring millions across the globe to trust their own potential.

Modi Ji's story teaches us that self-belief is not dependent on wealth, privilege, or background. It is a quality that anyone, anywhere can cultivate. A student preparing for exams, a farmer battling drought, a professional facing obstacle, or an athlete striving for victory - all can draw strength from the power of self-belief. Just as Modi Ji never allowed adversities to shake his confidence, we too must carry the conviction that our dreams are achievable, provided we persevere with courage and faith.

Self-belief is the first step to victory. Modi Ji's rise from a humble tea-seller to India's Prime Minister shows that no background is too small for big dreams. For readers, the lesson is profound: when the world doubts you, believe in yourself. Every great innovator, entrepreneur, and leader in history-whether it was Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, or Dhirubhai Ambani-succeeded because they trusted their vision even when others dismissed them. Self-belief is the fuel that turns ordinary individuals into extraordinary achievers

Concluding Remarks on Part VIII

The five qualities explored in this part - from Modi Ji's role as a True Supporter of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, to the True Builder of Sustainable and Smart Cities, to the True Well-Wisher of Villagers and Farmers, culminating in the essence of being a True Self-Believer - together reflect a complete circle of development and determination.

They show us that Modi Ji's vision is not fragmented. It connects the dignity of sanitation with the pride of urban modernisation, balances shining metros with thriving villages, and roots all progress in the timeless strength of self-belief. His journey teaches us that cleanliness, sustainability, rural empowerment, and confidence are not isolated themes - they are threads of the same national fabric, woven into a brighter destiny for Bharat.

This holistic message is powerfully echoed in Sahir Ludhianvi's immortal words from Kala Patthar (1979): "Ek Raasta Hai Zindagi…" - reminding us that life is a single path filled with struggles, sacrifices, and triumphs, but those who walk it with courage and conviction reach their destination with pride. Modi Ji's journey embodies this very spirit - walking fearlessly, often against odds, yet never faltering in his resolve.

Equally eternal are the lines penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri in Mamta (1966): "Rahe Na Rahe Hum… Mehka Karenge…" - a timeless truth that even when the individual fades away, their fragrance, their ideals, and their impact live on. In the same way, the values of self-reliance, cleanliness, sustainability, and rural upliftment that Modi Ji has instilled into the soul of our nation will continue to inspire generations long after his time.

And adding to this immortal legacy, Majrooh Sahib's other classic from Mamta (1966): "Hum Intezar Karenge Qayamat Tak…" - is a song of unwavering faith and boundless patience. It reflects the trust of millions who believe that no matter how long or testing the journey, they will stand by a leader who stands by them.

Together, these three songs are not just melodies - they are living philosophies. They mirror Modi Ji's personal odyssey, his vision for the nation, and his eternal connect with the people: a road of resilience today, a fragrance of inspiration for tomorrow, and an unbreakable bond of trust that will endure till eternity.

As the nation marks the occasion of Modi Ji's 75th birthday on 17th September 2025, these sentiments acquire a special resonance. They remind us that his life and leadership are not merely the story of one individual, but the unfolding journey of a nation - where courage, conviction, and collective faith shape a destiny that will continue to inspire generations to come.

In many ways, Modi Ji can be described as the Milkha Singh - the Flying Sikh of Indian politics - under whose able leadership India is progressing with the same astonishing speed, energy, and determination that defined the legendary athlete.

Thus, Part VIII is not just a reflection of qualities; it is a call for each one of us to embody these traits - to keep our surroundings clean, build smarter futures, honour our farmers, and above all, nurture the power of self-belief. For when a nation of 1.4 billion carries these values in its heart, no force on earth can stop Bharat from becoming truly Vishwaguru.

Acknowledgments of Inspiration

No journey is ever walked alone. Behind every word I write stands the unseen support of my loved ones and colleagues, whose encouragement gives strength to my thoughts and voice.

At the heart of this inspiration is my late wife Renu Jaggi, whose soft-spoken nature and unconditional love continue to motivate me even today. Though no longer physically present, her spirit is the quiet force that sustains me in every endeavour.

Equally profound is the contribution of my younger brother Manoj Jaggi, whose meticulousness and extraordinary care for the family go far beyond words. His steadfastness and devotion are a constant reminder of what true responsibility and affection mean.

I also wish to gratefully acknowledge my other family members, whose silent yet invaluable presence forms the foundation of my journey. Their support has been the invisible thread weaving strength into my daily life.

From my professional sphere, I remain deeply indebted to CA. Ashok Batra Ji, whose passion for reading and learning is unmatched; CA. Manoj Garg Ji, who has exemplified dedication, punctuality, and loyalty for nearly four decades. In addition, CA. Sakshi Goel, young, energetic, soft-spoken, and ever-eager to learn, reflects the spirit of the new generation of professionals. Under the noble mentorship of the vastly experienced and truly living encyclopaedia of Service Tax and GST, CA. Ashok Batra Ji, she embodies how passion, discipline, and humility can carry forward the torch of knowledge from one generation to the next. Together, their encouragement, guidance, and cooperation have been instrumental in shaping and sustaining this eight-part series.

Finally, I bow in reverence to the legendary lyricist Anand Bakshi Ji, whose photograph I have placed in my temple. His timeless words are not only a source of reverence and creativity but also a wellspring of inspiration that blesses every page I write.

Final Reflection

As we conclude this journey of exploring 75 unique qualities of Shri Narendra Modi Ji, it is clear that these are not merely descriptions of a leader but milestones of inspiration for every citizen of Bharat. From the dignity of cleanliness to the pride of smart cities, from the resilience of farmers to the strength of India's global image, and finally to the power of self-belief - these qualities together form a compass for our nation's future.

This work is a humble tribute to a leader who, as he completes 75 glorious years of life on 17th September 2025, continues to inspire us with his vision, his courage, and his unwavering faith in Bharat. Each quality narrated here can be seen as a gift to every year of his illustrious journey, reminding us that greatness is built not in a moment but over a lifetime of struggle, sacrifice, and service.

In preparing this reflection, I must gratefully acknowledge the unexpected yet powerful companions of this creative journey. The FM Radio Stations 100.1 and 106.4, especially their melodious programmes, brought back unforgettable Hindi film songs that became the soul of this narrative. Their music and lyrics reminded me that cinema and poetry often carry the timeless wisdom of resilience, courage, and hope - qualities that mirror Modi Ji's own life.

Equally, the assistance of Artificial Intelligence tools has been invaluable in shaping, polishing, and enriching these reflections. Technology, when used positively, becomes not just a tool but a partner in creativity - enabling us to connect ideas, references, and expressions in a way that inspires more deeply. Just as Modi Ji embraces technology to serve the people, this project too found strength in modern innovation.

Together, music and technology infused this work with rhythm and resonance, ensuring that every quality did not remain just a line on paper but became a song of motivation.

Let us then carry forward this spirit - to see Modi Ji's 75 qualities not just as his attributes but as our collective call to action. If each of us imbibes even a few of these qualities in our daily lives, Bharat will not only move closer to becoming a Vishwaguru, but also a nation where every citizen lives with dignity, courage, and self-belief.Thus, this journey closes not as an ending, but as a beginning - a call to each of us to walk the path with courage, spread the fragrance of values, and keep the faith alive for generations to come.

Motivational Couplet to Close:

हिंदी (मूल):"गीतोंसेमिलीप्रेरणा, तकनीकसेमिलाबल,मोदीजीकेगुणोंसेरोशनहोहरपल।"

English (Translation):"From songs came inspiration, from technology came might,Through Modi Ji's qualities, every moment shines bright."
