When did I join CCI first time?
I joined CCI first time during my Articleship, it was somewhere around 2007. I forgot the credentials of my older ID and this is my new id. I changed my login IDs multiple times, as I kept switching email ids for different reasons.
However, my first happiest moment on CCI was when my Excel accounting software was featured in top downloaded files of CCI. Even today this file is at number 2 position in all time highest downloaded files.
What inspired me and what I did?
I got confidence with the result of my excel accounting file and made mind to learn coding and launch a full fledged billing software.
I learned coding after completing my CA. In intial stage of practice you get good amount of time in hand, in my free time I learned coding. As a CA we are good at many things and we by nature are really good in analysis.
This skill that I got from our large stack of books helped me to learn coding at a faster rate.
Now I can code, inspect what others have coded. Analyse things faster and make application/software for any idea that I get.
Life changed after GST
Inspired by CCI, I launched a website when GST was implemented in India.
In starting I used to post articles and hosted a QA platform. Both are still very much active, however, I felt that CCI is better for these things.
Using my coding skills I launched a Billing Software, It was one of the very first online Billing software for GST. Today this billing software is being used by more than 10,000 business owners and accountants.
This billing software is completely free to use.
Journey started from creating a billing software in excel and ended with a full fledged online GST billing software.
I am highly thankful to CCI for providing a platform which is first online platform for anyone starting with their CA Course.
I am eager to hear stories of others who got inspired or motivated from their contribution on CCI.
