BUDGET HIGHLIGHTS DIRECT TAXES Wealth tax replaced with additional surcharge of 2per cent on super rich with a taxable income of over Rs.1crore annually. No change in rate of personal income tax. Transport allowance increased from 800 to 1600 pm. P
