MCA notifies authorization under Section 272 (1)(e) of the Companies Act, 2013

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th January, 2021

S.O. 220(E)- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (1) of Section 272 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Central Government hereby authorizes Shri Rakesh Sasibhushan, Chairman- cum- Managing Director, Antrix Corporation Limited (a Government Company registered under the Companies Act having CIN-U85110KA1992GOI013570) to present a petition before the Tribunal for winding up of Devas Multimedia Private Limited (a company registered under the Companies Act having CIN U92132KA2004PTC035261) on the grounds specified under clause (c) of Sub-section (1) of Section 271 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013).

2. This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

S.O. 222(E).—In the English version of the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, number S.O. 220 (E), dated the 18th January, 2021, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section(ii), dated the 18th January, 2021, at page 2, in lines 6 and 7 for “under clause (c) of Sub-section (1) of Section 271”, read “under clause (c) of section 271”.
