While calculating HRA, exemption, actaul HRA is 24000 PM, But while claimimg hra, actual rent paid is 50000/- pm, claimed by person, in small town like tier II cities, is there any restriction on ACTUAL RENT PAID , in the act, please clarify in this regard

1. As such no question would arise if landlord has given his PAN, with attested copy of rent agreement.
2. Ask your employee to get you TDS certificate, as TDS is required to be deducted u/s. 194-IB
