dear sir, i work in a pvt co which is solely export oriented company. for the hedging we short sale the dollar future. I had a query that profit/loss from such a transcation will wheather treates as bussiness profit/loss or capital gain/loss. and what is the c/f period for the same.. also in another company we do the same transaction but it(the company) is NBFC company and its business is purely investment. the same query is also for the said company???
