Hi!

I am Sanjay Gupta from "City of Joy - Kolkata". I have completed ICWA, M.Com, CS, DIM and currently pursuing MBA. Presently i am working for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Barrackpore Division as a Dy. Manager (Finance). Prior to this, for last 3 years i worked for "West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Ltd" as Officer On Special Duty and before that for 3.5 years i worked for "Jekay Group of Companies" as Manager (F & A).

I am a part of caclubindia Family to share whatever knowledge i have and also to enhance my own knowledge. We all learn something everyday, because education never ends be it in school, college, institutions or in Journey of Life.

I have 2 Pan numbers on my name thats why yesterday I have given 1 Pan number cancellation request letter to Income Tax office - Thane. My question is when my Pan number will be cancelled? Generally how many days it takes for cancellation or deactivation? Please advice on the same.

Dear Sir I made a Journal entry for last FY (2009-2010).Provision for Audit as Rs 20000. Then made an entry Like Audit Fee Dr 20000 To Prov. For Audit Fee 20000 Then Now Auditors send Bill as Rs 18000. so how to enter the JE. I think it would be Prov. For Audit Fee 20000 To Bank 18000 To prov. Adj. Entry (P/L) 2000 Prov. Adj Enrtry is an indirect income in Tally. It is right or wrong. and if Auditors bill amount will Rs 22000. What is the entryi think it would be like Prov. For Audit Fee Dr 20000 prov.adj entry (P/L)Dr 2000 To bank 22000 here prov. adj entry as Indirect expense in Tally. it is am totlly confused so kindly reply as soon as possible. Regards Shiras

Dear expert, I am one of the 4 Directors of a Private Ltd firm. A board resolution was passed in 2004 authorizing me to open/operate any bank account for the company severally/individually. The same was signed by 2 Directors. In the resolution it is mentioned that the same is irrevocable, and a separate resolution is not needed each time till the year 2014. Is this resolution enough to open a bank account? If so, how do i submit a 'true certified copy' to the bank? As in, who will certify it?
