: Tax Liabilities for a MERCHANT EXPORTER
Dear Sir, I am an Engineer by educational qualification. I just started my own Merchant Export - partnership firm. My firm is dedicated to 100% export sales. Also, in the near future we wish to import few items. Kindly answer the following questions : 1. What are the tax liabilities on a Merchant Export firm and its partners? 2. what are the benefits provided by the govt to such kind of firms? 3. Can we term my firm as 100% EOU? 4. Is there a separate tax slab for my kind of business? 5. How can we save income tax in a merchant export type of business running, where you just procure the material from market and sell it to the buyer? 6. Are sending of samples included in exemption from income tax? 7. Suppose i get some 20 lakhs from a business deal and i need to pay 80 % of that to my contacts as commission. Will i be liable to pay the income tax for the whole amount or just for my share i.e. 5 lakhs ? Please answer my silly questions and help me grow my business successfullly.
