FAQ :

The due date for depositing tax deducted/collected for December 2022 is January 7, 2023. For those permitted quarterly TDS deposits, the deadline is also January 7, 2023. Other TDS and TCS related deposits and statement filings are due on January 15, 30, and 31, 2023.

TDS certificates for tax deducted under sections 194-IA, 194-IB, and 194M in November 2022 are due by January 14, 2023. Quarterly TCS certificates are due by January 30, 2023.

For taxpayers with turnover > Rs. 5 Cr, the GSTR-3B for December 2022 is due by January 20, 2023. For those with turnover up to Rs. 5 Cr opting for quarterly filing, Group A states have a due date of January 22, 2023, and Group B states have a due date of January 24, 2023.

The GSTR-1 return for December 2022 is due by January 11, 2023, for registered persons with aggregate turnover exceeding INR 5 Crores or those opting for monthly filing under QRMP.

Non-resident taxpayers, ISD, TDS, and TCS taxpayers have various deadlines in January 2023, including GSTR-5/5A by January 20, GSTR-6 by January 13, GSTR-7 by January 10, and GSTR-8 by January 10.

The monthly payment of GST (PMT-06) for taxpayers with an aggregate turnover up to INR 5 crores who have opted for quarterly filing under QRMP is due by January 25, 2023.
