Delhi's GST collection has increased by 20% in 2022-23

This is a significant achievement, and it is a testament to the hard work of the Delhi government and the Trade and Taxes department. The increase in collection is likely due to a number of factors, including the growth of the Delhi economy, the implementation of new GST laws, and the Delhi government's efforts to improve tax administration.

The Delhi government is committed to using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve tax administration

AI has the potential to revolutionize tax administration by making it more efficient, transparent, and effective. The Delhi government is already using AI to track down tax evaders and to improve the accuracy of tax assessments. In the future, AI could be used to automate many of the tasks involved in tax administration, such as processing tax returns and issuing refunds.

The Delhi government is also committed to making the tax system more transparent and efficient

The government has launched a number of initiatives to achieve this goal, such as the introduction of a single-window clearance system for businesses and the creation of a taxpayer helpline. The government is also working to make the tax laws more user-friendly.

Overall, the Indian GST news is positive. The Delhi government has made significant progress in collecting GST, and it is committed to using AI and other technology to improve tax administration. These efforts will help to make the tax system more efficient and transparent, which will benefit businesses and taxpayers alike.
