Invitation for Volunteers for World Forum of Accountants (WOFA)

ICAI is organizing the World Forum of Accountants (WOFA) with the theme "Accountability Meets Innovation (AI): For a Sustainable Planet," inspired by India's philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (The World is One Family), focusing on AI-driven solutions for environmental challenges and global collaboration from January 31 to February 2, 2025, at the Yashobhoomi India International Convention & Expo Centre, Sector-25, Dwarka, New Delhi, India. WOFA will host over 6,000 accounting and finance professionals from around the globe, offering a unique opportunity to interact, network, and gain insights into the latest developments in the field of accountancy.

To ensure the seamless execution of this mega event, ICAI invites expressions of interest from CA students to volunteer for various activities during the event. This is an exceptional chance to experience the event firsthand, enhance your skills, and learn from the enriching sessions of WOFA about adapting to AI-driven regulatory landscapes, ethical AI practices, India's digital transformation journey, leadership, global economic trends, and leveraging technology for accountability-and many more invaluable insights.

Important Details for Volunteers

• Selection: The selection of volunteers will be solely at the discretion of ICAI.
  
  
• ICAI Support:
  
  
  • WOFA registration fee will be borne by ICAI.
    
    
  • Food will be provided from January 31 to February 2, 2025.
    
    
• Expenses to be borne by students:
  
  
  • Travel (Air/Train/Bus/Cab fare) and Accommodation to be arranged by Student/Volunteer and ICAI will not reimburse any cost in this regard.
    
    
• Reporting and Relieve:
  
  
  • Volunteers must report at 10AM on January 30, 2025.
    
    
  • Volunteers will be relieved on the evening of February 2, 2025
    
    
• Selection Notification: Selected students will be informed by January 27, 2025 via email or call.
  
  
• Last Date to Apply: January 24, 2025
  
  
• Selection Criteria : Student is enrolled in Intermediate or Final Course and undergoing the Practical Training.
