The ICAI's Chartered Accountants Benevolent Fund (CABF) is offering medical financial assistance to members and their dependants who are suffering from COVID-19.
Members and their dependants who are in distress and require financial assistance for the treatment of COVID-19 are eligible.
The financial assistance is available up to INR 1.5 Lakhs.
Yes, the aid is only for cases of hospitalisation and requires a positive CORONA report. The amount must be utilised for CORONA treatment, otherwise, it needs to be returned in full.
Members can apply by filling out the prescribed Application Form-cum-Undertaking available on the ICAI website at the CABF Portal.
