The Finance Minister launched the Central Scrutiny Centre (CSC) and the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority's (IEPFA) Mobile App.
The CSC will scrutinise certain Straight Through Process (STP) Forms filed by corporates to ensure data quality, identify irregularities, and take corrective steps.
The IEPFA Mobile App aims to achieve financial literacy, spread investor awareness and education, and protect investors. It also allows tracking of IEPF claim refunds and reporting of suspected fraudulent schemes.
These tech-enabled initiatives make government services available electronically, fostering digital empowerment and creating a more efficient and transparent corporate and investor ecosystem.
The IEPFA Mobile App is currently available for download on the Play Store for Android devices.
