Medical grade oxygen, oxygen concentrators and their accessories, various types of oxygen plants, oxygen canisters, filling systems, storage tanks, cylinders, generators, ISO containers, transport tanks, parts for manufacturing oxygen equipment, ventilators, compressors, humidifiers, viral filters, high flow nasal cannula devices, helmets for non-invasive ventilation, and non-invasive ventilation masks are exempt.
The exemption from basic customs duty and health cess will be in effect for a period of three months from the date of the decision.
Yes, basic customs duty on the import of COVID vaccines will also be exempted with immediate effect for a period of 3 months.
