For nov 2008 PCC students: As per ICAI exam form can be signed only by the principal. If ex-principal is ready to sign and take risk in case of any problem his sign is also applicable. Since many nov 2008 PCC students want to take a break from articleship ICAI may make a new rule (notification) for signing of form from any CA. But such rule is not made yet and not fully assured.

I contacted ICAI chapter at bangalore, they said it has to be from the present person with whom are article.
