I want book buy a Book of direct Taxes CA Final.

i ve gone through this Forum & opinion of different people yet unable to conclude which is the best book.

i ve Following options

1)Vinod Gupta

2)TN manoharan

3)Dr Girish Ahujha

4)Vinod Singhania

All these are renowned authors

i want a book which will help me give practical insights into the subject,more than passing i want to satisfied with Every aspect of this paper in a Conceptual manner.

I would like the esteemed members of this forum to Guide me regarding as to which is the best for direct taxes & why tat particular book should be selected.

Thanks for ur reply Shubham but if u r referring a book kindly give me the reasons why shall i go for tat particular book.

i ve voluntarily written this post so tat a Clarrity is drawn which book could be best Advisable & more imporatntly WHY?unlike a Flat opinion given in most of the posts in this Forum regarding best book.

T n manorahan is good as it is simple easy and can be studied one day before exam . you can refer vg gupta modules if your attempt is in nov.it is too lenghthy.

For more than exam oriented knowledge and to be satisfied with all aspects of the subjecct, suggest you study all those books. Best of Luck.

TRY FIRST LESSON ON DIRECT TAXES BY DIVAKAR VIJAYASARATHY. IT CONTAINS HOW MUCH TIME TO BE DEVOTED TO EVERY TOPIC.

All the authors mentioned are very renowned and the books authored are no less but when it comes to in depth understanding and analysis of the subject, VK Singhania's book scores above all. I studied it for PCC and am currently studying from it for the Final and I find it a boon for self studying.

The facts presented are very much in depth and detailed and a number of references to case laws have been given. The language is genuinely professional and there are almost no errors in the book (errors,as far as my study is concerned).

What might trouble you is the small fonts and the clutterdness (to some extent) in the book, but I think that should not be an issue if the book is professionally genuine..
