Continue job with study or not?

Dear friend,

               As you know that CA course is one of the reputed and tough course. If you think that you can pass the exam by doing job then it's great then you are not required to leave the organisation. As you stated that you are financial Analyst, so you are getting the experience in the practical field, it's your value addition.

If you are not suffering from finance problem and your work is not the part of articleship and also you are not getting the ample time to study then leave the job. Start Studying. If you are facing all the 3 problems then you leave only.

Thanks Sonu Jha. Finance problem is not so much. I just have a fear for my future that what happen if i would't pass the exam. or get stuck in any group.

Don't worry study by doing job ca with exp counts more than without even I am an industrial trainee passed 1st grp in final by working and taking 20 days leave only and Cs inter during articles in big 4 without leave in 2nd attempt don't worry take something study a single group and clear it off depends upon your convenience

Hi Venkat, thank you for your reply. Your suggestion is considerable. I was thinking to quit job because marks in my last attempt was very low. Waiting for more suggestions to take a rational decision. Thanks !!

Don't worry I passed ca final 1 grp in 3rd attempt just take s leave and study don't quit a gap in job will not look good and if u have exp attempts also do not matter much

U may Find good placements in ICAI campus after passing ca with exp which others lack

Just take 's' leave ?? The problem is also that i won't get leave for preparation thou exam leave might be granted.

When are u writing ur exam how many groups

Well its a good thing that you u working as finance analyst, no doubt you will get good experience which adds value to your profile. But now it depends how well prepared you are for finals (if you are done with coaching and studies during articleship). If you are well prepared and find it comfortable to finish your portions then don't leave your job, if not it is better you concentrate on finals n try to finish at least 1 group because the more time passes by you might lose interest. I think you should consider your preparation level and then decide.

Then the only alternative is to come home read till midnight and also weekend every minute counts if u can. Cope up best to postpone attempt to may though it may become late atleast u can pass with good prep than failing without good prep in Nov but if your confident that u can pass 100% then quit otherwise no

Shreya Thank you for giving your suggestion. And if i say about my preparation it is at it's level of scratch. Bcz as i see at my last attempt marks i must say i need hardwork in order to meet icai exam level.

Then I would suggest you to just sit back and prepare yourself this time & since you are writing only one group you can maybe work for another month & quit job. Don't worry about losing job now you will get once you become CA. Even I'm writing group 2 this time.. wanted to join for a job but decided to stay back & study. 3 more months nothing much to lose.

Venkat i do consider your advise to come from office and study. Thou, postpone exam is not good bcz with every attempt i don't want to lose my interest and confidence. Which is very tough to accumulate, in order to begin preparation.
